We are offering a Villeroy and Boch Germany Porcelain Tureen with Lid in the Amapola pattern. The pattern features peach, blue and purple poppy flowers and vines with green trim. The tureen and lid are in excellent condition free of chips, cracks, crazing or color fading- looks like its never been used. The tureen with lid measures approximately 10" high from the bottom to the top of the lid finial and 9 1/2" wide from handle to handle. The tureen is marked on the underside with the Villeroy & Bock Made in Germany mark as well as pattern name (as seen in the pic). This piece is dishwasher safe/ A very pretty set to fill in your existing set. Amapola is a discontinued pattern that was made from 1981-2001. This set currently retails for $169.95 at .

SHIPPING & HANDLING

The shipping fee listed is for USPS Parcel Post in the continental United States which can take 8-10 business days depending on your location. If you need faster service (i.e. Priority Mail, Express Mail) or live in Alaska, Canada or overseas, please let us know and we will be happy to provide you an accurate shipping quote. We can ship most places worldwide.

Our shipping fee includes the USPS Delivery Confirmation number. We always ship within 1-2 business days after receiving cleared payment and will provide you with your delivery confirmation number once your item(s) has shipped for easy tracking at . We combine shipping whenever possible and pass along any applicable discounts.

All of our shipping fees listed include a very small handling fee (usually less than $1) that help us cover the costs of running an ebay business- i.e. listing and final value fees deducted from your win bid price, any packing materials that we have to buy such as packing tape, paper etc., driving our car daily to and from the post office or taking public transportation for items listed in NYC and so on. We do not make profit on our shipping and handling.

SHIPPING INSURANCE

Shipping insurance can be purchased for an additional fee at checkout (not required but highly recommended). We use post office rates to determine the cost of shipping insurance (insurance up to $50 is $1.70 for domestic shipments, etc.). We do not require our customers to purchase shipping insurance on items with win bids less than $200. Please know that we wrap very carefully and do everything in our power to ensure safe delivery of your purchase.

Shipping damage is rare but occasionally the mail carrier is especially rough with packages and damage can occur. If you decide to decline shipping insurance we cannot offer any refunds on your purchase. If insurance is purchased and damage does occur, please keep the damaged item and all packaging and contact us immediately. We can then provide you with instructions for filing a claim with USPS. We will do everything possible to assist you with getting your refund from USPS and mail you all required documentation.

PAYMENT

We accept PayPal, Personal Checks or Money Orders. For international customers, we accept PayPal only. We expect payments to made or sent within 7 days after the end of your auction. If you cannot meet this deadline, please contact us to make arrangements. Merchandise is only shipped after your payment clears (usually within a few hours for PayPal and a few days for personal checks). If we do not hear from you within 14 days after the end of your auction regarding payment we have to file an Unpaid Item Claim with Ebay.

SALES TAX

We are required by law to collect sales tax in both California and New York.
