Tea set has 17 pieces. One of the saucers is chipped as seen in the photos. A few of the plates have bubbles on the edges that are part of the plates. Stamped on bottom is "Handpainted in Japan" or "Japan"For decoration I would not suggest use. Item comes from an estate sale so I will try answer all questions best I can. Item does need a good detailed cleaning. I did not attempt and will leave for you to clean with your preferred method. If you would like more information or to see additional photos please ask.
