S.STERNAU & CO. Oil Lamp Filler patented May 1, 1896. Wonderful little oil lamp filler, used for topping off oil and kerosene lamps. It has a domed lid that unscrews for filling. T is a small cap atached to a chain to keep the spout covered when not in use. The plunger in the front is depressed to allow air in while using. The filler is approx 5-1/4" high and measures approx 8-1/2" from handle to the tip, it is nickle plated over copper, and has no dents, or marks. The bottom is marked S. Sternau & Co May12, 96. The filler is in excellent condition............
