Up for auction is an adorable 19" hard plastic doll with an open mouth, felt tongue and four teeth, lots of hair in a hair net, blue/green sleep eyes with real lashes, painted under lashes, jointed at the neck, shoulders and wide hips, with blush on her cheeks and knees as well as dark eye shadow. There are no marks. She is possibly made by Artisan Novelty Company, and could be a Miss Gadabout or a Raving Beauty doll from the 1950s. I am not a doll expert and not sure if her clothes are original or homemade. She is missing one sock and her shoes are broken. Her blouse is badly stained and she smells like she's been in storage for awhile. Her joints are loose and the most damage I see is around her neck, underneath her pearl necklace. She definitely needs cleaning, but I will leave that up to you. Please look at pictures carefully, and contact me if I can answer any questions.This would make a nice addition to any antique, or vintage doll or toy collection.
