Vintage 1920s ball-jointed composition German bisque doll made by Armand Marseille. Bisque head with blue glass eyes and probable brown human hair (but might be mohair?). The back of the head is endorsed: "Germany 390 A 6 1/2 M" Ball-jointed composition body requires some re-assembly and is missing a knee joint. There is a small amount of damage to the right shoulder (see picture). The spare parts shown are composition but do not appear to relate to this doll (we have no other doll). Item description update: We have just noticed that the left eyelid of the bisque doll head is partially chipped and that some of the eyelashes are consequently missing (please see additional picture added). The doll is approximately 23 inches tall (58 cm).
