VINTAGE 1950s DARK BROWN KARAKUL ASTRAKHAN LAMB REAL FUR COAT JACKET 12/14 VINTAGE 1950s KARAKUL ASTRAKHAN LAMB REAL FUR COAT SIZE 12/14 This a stylish, elegant and origional 1950s Astrakhan lamb real fur coat. They are known for its softness and tight curly pattern of hair. You may have also heard it called Persian or karakul. I absolutely love this one. In super condition, retro style, this quality of fur is lush and curly, supersoft and luxurious to the touch. No damage, dirt or odour. Only light signs of pre-use. Looks great worn with the collar up as i have photographed, looks special and glamorous. My photos really don't do it justice. It is amazing that this fine piece of history has come through the years in such lovely condition. A fabulous chocolate brown, this jacket has a classic 1950s style which will add tonnes of sophistication and class to any outfit. The silky brown lining is every bit as good as the coat, pretty attention to detail, excellent condition, although it has become unstitched slighly at the nape of the neck, but nothing that a few stitches wouldn't fix or can be worn as it is.
