1958 Original issue Smokey Bear advertising Poster, this is a 2 part poster, together they are 81 x 41 tall, Life Size, almost 7 feet tall. Comes folded as issued, looks un-used Date: 1958Artist: Rudy Wendelin41 x 81 inches (104 x 205 cm)Description: Artist: Wendelin has received many awards for his work. He was presented with the Medal of Honor by the Daughters of the American Revolution for his work in popularizing Smokey Bear through his artwork. In addition to awards from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, he also received the Horace Hart Award from the graphic arts industry and both Silver and Gold Smokey Bear Awards from The U.S. Department of Agriculture.
