You are bidding on a used vintage Lego 810 Town Plan. This is the original from 1958, the very set that highly collectible 10184 Town Plan is based on as a 50th Anniversary set! Other web sites date this set to 1960 and 1961, suffice to say it is over 50 years old. It appears complete, however I didn't count all 760 parts it supposed to include. I've checked the most important and the most collectible parts are all there. Includes the original box, board and even the manual. The manual is torn and creased. The box is remarkably well preserved considering its age. There are dirty, yellowed parts, some may even have dental marks, but most parts appear in very good condition. 2 of the beetle cars and the tanker truck have broken front bumpers, but the rest of Mercedes trucks and 4 mini scooters appear perfect. Some even have the made in Denmark sticker. This was originally sold in Europe and Australia only, highly sought after and a lot rarer than the other Town Plans of the same era. This is worth it for the box art alone - the grand kids of Lego founder: Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen as a kid !! The set weighs 7kg or more !I believe this is rarer than the 41999 Crawler and even Mr Gold, because there is one available for sale via eBay! It is not known, but it is doubtful that more than 5000 of these were made back in the 50'ties...This set
