This is a vintage 1959 Lesney Matchbox Ferret Scout Car Model # 61 with it's original box. The scout car measures 2 1/8in. in length by 7/8in. tall. The metal car is Army olive green throughout with a tan driver and 5 black wheels (one mounted on the side). On the under carriage it reads "Ferret Scout Car Made In England By Lesney No. 61."The paint on the piece is in truly excellent condition as evidenced by the photos. The Scout Car comes with it's original box. Overall, the box is in very nice shape, with a minor 1/2in. tear on the base, and the top right corner is starting to separate a bit at the seam, otherwise in very good shape.This piece was mine as a kid, but apparently I did not play with it much for the car and box, as described and seen in the pictures, are in very nice shape.Thanks for looking!
