I am selling a Kolster Brandes Rhapsody De-luxe Transistor Radio, believe to be manufactured around 1959, model UP 31. I found what appears to be part of the purchase receipt in the inside of the radio, which I have photographed and put back in the radio. I have not tested the radio as I don't have the right battery and I am not electronically minded, however I have photographed the interior to help show the condition. The colour is a pale yellow with Burgundy red trims and gold/brass detailing. I have not cleaned the radio as I don't want to accidentally ruin it. The MW and LW buttons both appear to pop back up when the off button is pressed. The main tuning dial also appear to move well. I also understand that this model featured in the Alicia Keys music video, "Girl On Fire". Just a bit of trivial! Please contact me with any questions.
