Fabulous set of eight (8) vintage wine glasses, unused and mint in their original box. These sea-themed crystal glasses are made by Libbey, the box done in 1960s graphics. The wine glasses have a 22 karat gold edge and design of fish, seashells and seahorses. T is a blue-green enameled background, that would depict a stylized ocean. The stem is a lobed ball, as pictured. Each glass measures 4" tall x 2 3/4" in diameter at the top rim, 2 1/2" in diameter at the base. The glasses fit into their own slot in the box. T is an insert on how to take care of the precious metal decoration, as pictured. The box lid does have wear from years of storage, but the graphics are still in food condition. The set is called, on the side of the box lid, the Marine Life Hostess Set, 4oz. Cocktail or Wine Set of 8. An absolutely terrific set, very hard to find in this condition.
