Three Vintage 1960's Marx ELM Plastic Miniature Convertible Race Car Toys,one with Wimpy driving and 2 with Donald Duck driving. Wimpy's dark grey-blue toy car is in good vintage condition, with some paint loss to Wimpy and the windshield is missing. Wimpy is a character in the Popeye cartoon/comic. The car measures 2" x 3/4" and says on the bottom "Hong Kong". Donald Duck, a Disney friend of Mickey Mouse, is in a green race car, with paint loss to Donald and the writing on the bottom of the car is obscured. It measures 1 7/8" x 7/8". The second Donald is in a pink Triumph,#801-10, also missing the windshield, with paint loss on Donald. It measures 1 5/8" x 5/8". ELM was a Hong Kong-based subsidiary of Louis Marx Toys. The initials ELM stands for Empire Louis Marx. ELM products are essentially the same as those made by the Louis Marx Toy Company. Three great little race cars for any Popeye, Disney, or Marx ELM fan.
