This is a ticket stub from SEEKONK SPEEDWAY, a race track that is located in Seekonk, Massachusetts that has operated continuously since its opening in 1946. Seekonk Speedway was built, owned, and operated by D. ANTHONY VENDITTI from 1946 until his death in 1991; it is now operated by his wife Irene, son Francis, and grandson David. According to the Seekonk Speedway website, divisional champions for the 1973 season included VINNIE ANNARUMMO (late model cadets), who holds the record for most championships at Seekonk Speedway with 6, HENRI "RED" BARBEAU (modified), and JERRY CAPPAZOLLI (mini-stocks/VWs).The stated year on the ticket is 1973. The ticket measures 1.75" wide by 1.5" tall. The ticket is in very nice condition for its age.
