This is this a slip decorated redware plate made in 1982 by Foltz Pottery of Pennsylvania. It has a unique wavy design and measures 9" across. T he plate has crimped edges. It has no cracks or repairs, although t is a very tiny chip that looks like part of the crimped edge. It almost went unnoticed to me. The plate is sturdy and quite a heavy piece weighing over 2 pounds. T are small white specks throughout the plate which appear to be in the glaze. This does not detract from the appearance at all. The plate is marked with Foltz Pottery Pennsylvania insignia, with the year 1982 in the middle of the insignia. It is also signed with what looks like C N Foltz or G N. Foltz. A very nice piece.
