ITEM: Vintage Bridgeport Boy Scout hatchet and RH Pal 51 Scout knife with a Scout Style sheath....hatchet is in excellent shape for its age, polished head, excellent stamping. Rehandled with Austrailian Acacia, very hard and great grain. RHPal 51 is in very good condition, tight spacers and guard...the tinest movement in the pommel. Both blades are sharp The leather sheath is 8-9 oz leather, the seams glued,riveted and sewn, there is a thick welt to protect the stitching on the hatchet blade. Sheath has a tight fit, but will loosen with use as leather does. The knife sheath has an extra backing piece ( see pic) for added strength..brass rivets and snaps.
