Vintage '61 Gillette Fat Boy Adjustable Razor Excellent ~Vintage 1961 G1 Gillette Fat Boy Adjustable Razor with Case and Blades ~ ~ All in Excellent / Fine Condition~ For Your Consideration: A Vintage Gillette Fat Boy Adjustable (1-9) Double Edged Safety Razor with a nearly Spotless Case and a Dispenser of 15 Vintage Gillette Spoiler blades. A simply beautiful specimen of one of the Most Desirable and Highly Sought-After Gillette Razors on Ebay. ~ In Excellent, Fine Condition ~ The Doors are Clean and Shiny, Inside and Out. Open them and inside the head is Mirror Clean with no corrosion or plating wear. Throughout, the Plating Remains Bright and Shiny with None of the commonly found water spotting on the blade bed. The condition of the underside of the head is likewise Excellent. The Plating Underneath is still clean and has remained Free of all pitting, spotting or plate loss for the last 51 years. The Safety Bars are Straight, Smooth and Free of any brassing, pitting, or plate wear. The Numbers on the Adjustment Ring are Still Bold and Legible, with 100% of their Paint. The Handle finish is Spotless and Without a Blemish. Like the rest of the razor, it’s Bright and Amazingly Well Preserved! This is a Vintage Razor, date coded G1 for a manufacture date in the First quarter of 1961. It’s Nearly a Half-Century Old! It’s “Minty”, not “Mint”. Obviously, it’s been used over the years and can’t be described as mint, mainly because t is no paperwork included. T is a whisper of light scuffing on top of the head as is normally picked up during gentle use.
