Vintage and rare early 1970's Blue Olive badge Ludwig concert toms 8" & 10" diameters (5.5" X 8" and 6.5" X 10") in stunning Blue Sparkle. The color and condition of the shells and wrap is very good to excellent with zero fade and very little scuffs or marks. Both drums have speckeled interiors and the early version of the B/O Ludwig badge with the pointed tips, not rounded. No serial numbers on either one of the badges. As I said the drums finishes, bearing edges, color and condition are very very nice. They both have the original Ludwig clip style concert tom mounts and original riveted (4) at the wrap seams, these appear to be factory. The bad news is the drums both have extra holes I am not certain but the mounts mave have been moved and the 10" drum had a Classic Ludwig tom bracket mount installed at one point in the drums lifetime. Yes it is a shame there are extra holes otherwise these are collector grade condition drums. The heads have been played but still have life, they certainly could be changed. The 10" drum has a Roger's logo head, the 8" has a no name (but believed to be Remo) Ebony head both with control sound center dots.
