Totally cool large advertising Domestic Safety Match box complete with matches. Box is made of wood with a cardboard pull out. Paper label on the top with match striking paper on both long sides of the box. Matches are made of wood and each one is marked DOMESTIC SAFETY MATCHES on one side and AMERICA'S OWN MATCH CO. on the other side. Display box is large measuring 11 1/4" long x 7" wide x 2 1/8" tall. Matches are 10 1/8" long. Dollar bill for size, not included. Wood box is very sturdy. Paper label is worn on some of the edges, has creases, small hole on the C and some kind of old white paint on the lower right corner. Striking paper on the sides is very worn, only partial paper remains on one side. I am sure this is a rare find. A must have for the match collector.
