From the estate of a retired Chicago Police Officer, this item was found in a storage facility years after his passing. The HO train items currently offered for sale had been thrown haphazardly in a large box, so some of the individual boxes had been crushed or broken, while most of the contents remained intact, albeit dusty. Anything that looked obviously broken was not offered for sale. At the same time, we have no way of testing the functionality of the trains as the original railroad layout was dismantled and sold off years ago, and are judging them based on their appearance, as well as our opening bids reflect our lack of knowledge of the value or desirability of these items. You are bidding on one AHM HO Conrail 8429 Diesel Locomotive . Found in a plain box marked "Proto Power West, Costa Mesa, California". "Made in Yugoslavia" and"AHM" marked on bottom. Part of back hand rail is broken off (see picture 5). Please watch our auctions as we will be adding more HO items in the next few days.
