This auction is for the one (1) Aladdin Alacite lamp as shown in the photos. The lamp base is in very good condition without any chips, cracks, etc. but as you can see the socket, cord and harp are missing. NOTE: while this is an authentic Aladdin lamp, it was manufactured during the period where not all products had the Aladdin name embossed on the base. The small Alacite sticker is the clue telling that it IS Aladdin.This is a candidate for a rebuild with Aladdin parts or Ace hardware type components. It just needs a new home with loving parents.On the suggestion of a prospective bidder, I put a black/UV light in the base and observed the color of the Alacite. It had an avocado gloe or faint yellowish-green. I was told that the early pre-war Alacite had a green glow so I don't know if this color is the green that I have heard mentioned. Just a little FYI.
