NO RESERVE BID - Here is a really nice old American Flyer 4-6-2 #290 Steam Locomotive just as it came out of an old New England attic. I am no authority on these things but I'll describe the piece as best I can and be glad to try to answer any email questions. The piece looks to be in very good shape but absolutely needs a good cleaning - I prefer to leave any "cleaning" for the next owner. There is one set of wheels missing from the rear truck of the tender. Otherwise the set appears to be complete and in very good shape. I did try to test the motor by placing it on a track and applying power - All I got was just a loud Hummm for my efforts. This is the upper limit of my expertise with toy train motors. Thus I am offering the piece as" non- working". Certainly well worth the very low starting bid. TERMS: Buyer pays actual shipping costs.
