You are bidding on a set of two Alaskan Handmade Dolls . The Eskimo is made of leather and real fur with a wooden face. Some of the fur is missing and the leather has started to deteriorate a bit on the back side. Please examine the pictures closely. He has beading on his legs. Measures 10" tall. He is truly a unique piece and would look great on display. The Native American woman is stuffed with felt clothing. Her face appears to be composition which has slight crazing starting on the left side. She measures 9.5" tall. Some of her hair appears to be missing but overall she is still in collector worthy condition. I don't know the exact origin or history of these items but the lady I got them from assures me that they are handmade and authentic from Alaska. She is elderly woman who has been an antique collector for 50+ years. I don't see any identifying markings on them but I am unfamiliar with what to look for.
