Hello, I am selling for a friend several old and antique plucked instruments. He collected for many years. I hope you will like them. Now you are bidding on a vintage old to antique parlor guitar, handmade in Germany, a beautiful and very interesting piece. The label says "M. Wettengel, Bayreuth, Zupfinstrumentenmachermeister (luthier)", I guess it was made around 1900 to 1930. Fine (probably all solid) woods, the top is solid spruce, the back and sides is made of wonderful flamed maple. The guitar lute is playable, but the neck is not straight, a reset is recommended. The fingerboard with 18 frets (signs of use, but still o.k.) is made of rosewood, 4 markers. Wonderful head, the tuners work well, the wonderful bridge is original and stable, also the bridge pins. The neck is curved, action 12th fret is about 7 to 8mm. Old nylon strings, nevertheless fine sound. An interesting instrument, good quality! Total length: 970mm, scale length: 620mm, width of the nut: 45mm, width 12th fret: 55mm. GOOD CONDITION! No open cracks or separations, only damages to the varnish. A great item for the player or collector. Shipping to the USA or Canada: surface 60USD, air mail (fully insured and faster, so recommended !)): 90USD. Shipping to European Union: insured 35USD. Shipping to Japan or Australia: surface 70USD, air mail 110USD. Other countries read more
