This is a neat old pottery jardiniere, but I am unsure of the maker. With Cala Lilies among classical details, it measures 6.5" tall, 7.5" wide and was likely produced in Ohio during the early 1900's. My best guess as to manufacturer is the Robinson Clay Products Co. of Akron, OH. The glaze blends from mahogany brown to dark green, and aside from a couple of condition issues at the rim, it remains in pretty good shape. The photos show a .75" rub to the interior, with a small glaze flake and 1" ding to the exterior. T wasn't enough force to dislodge a piece, but created a crescent shaped hairline. Recognize this beauty? I'd love to hear from you.
