This is a vintage 12' bamboo spey fly rod. The rod is marked Martinez & Bird LMD, Redditch, Loon Assynt. The butt and mid section measure 49.25" and the tip section measures 47". The rod is in need of repair. Many of the guides on the tip top are missing. The onne ferrule on the tip section is missing. This would be an excellent rod for the tinkerer or rod builder to put back into service. Please email with any questions.
