You will be bidding on a VINTAGE DAYBED SOFA THAT HAS BEEN RECENTLY REUPHOLSTERED IN A COTTON BARKCLOTH REISSUE FABRIC. This daybed started out as a solid oak/poplar wood frame and was recovered last month in this crazy 50's Dali' inspired guitar and amoeba barkcloth fabric, and matching lipstick vinyl. Buttons are placed geometrically, and the brand new bolster (foam) was covered in the same fabric. This sofa is in excellent condition but for one problem. While moving this item from warehouse to storage it was slightly marred. The good news is that the mar is a scratch about 1/32" in diameter, and DID NOT GO ALL THE WAY THROUGH. I expertly repaired it (20+ years of upholstery experience) with professional vinyl cement and then dyed the small nic with matching red vinyl repair paint. SEE PICTURE. It will not rip with normal use, and does not really take away the overall look of this AWESOME piece. The sofa features original solid wood black lacquer conical legs with brass safety tips, and a black tubular steel rest for the wedge bolster. Measurements are: 72" long, 30" deep, and seat height is 16". Bottom is professionally finished with a black damask dust cover.
