This is a very unique bow tie quilt top. The individual blocks are made from fabric that appears to be from about 1890 to 1910 or so. The blocks were set together much later, maybe bye a different maker in the late 1930's. The alternating squares are made of a loose weave cream with tiny rosebuds on it. It might possibly be feedsack fabric. Its a combination of machine and hand sewing. But its in very good condition, a few age spots, but I could see no loose seams or tears.I have been collecting quilt tops, blocks, and quilts for over 20 years and am downsizing and moving across country. These are from my personal collection. I am also a quilter. If you have any questions please ask.Payment is to be made with in 24 hours of auction end, via paypal only.
