THIS IS A UK AUCTION ONLY AS THE DOLL IS TOO BIG TO SEND ABROAD. This is a vintage boxed Pedigree teenage doll from 1960. The doll is approx 20" tall and called Yvonne. She comes in the correct box - her name is on the box. Her description and clothing matches that of Yvonne in the 1960 Pedigree Catalogue - described in Colette Mansell's Collectors' Guide To British Teen Fashion Dolls - Volume 2 (Page 109). Yvonne is made of vinyl. This has discoloured over the years in patches (gone a bit yellowey) as can be seen, due to her wearing the same clothes for years (I guess). There are small marks on the top of the legs under the tops of the stockings (from the stockings). Blonde hair. Blue eyes with lashes. Eyes open and close. She has pearl drop ear-rings. The posts have corroded and she has a small bit of green ear on each side. Red lips, finger and toe nails. She comes wearing her complete original outfit (with the exception of a necklace which is mention in the book but is not present). Pants and stockings. Taffeta half slip edged with lace which has completely lost the elastic in the waist so needs a repair. (I have folded it over at the waist to stop it dropping down below the dress). Gold lurex dress with a stole attached to one shoulder. Fastens with two donut snaps at the back. The bottom half of the bottom press stud
