You just don't see brass fire extinquishers from 60 years ago in this fantastic shape! Came from the basement of an old Victorian in northern Illinois. Owner was 100+ years old! Has absolutely no dents or dings. The front label is awesome. Looks brand new! Measures approximately 13 inches in length . Would have originally come with a bracket for home or boat use. Says it was manufactured by The General Detroit Corp, Detroit, MI, and The General Pacific Corp, Los Angeles, CA. Check out / for information about the use of this brand in 1954 to 1958 Chris-Craft boats! This would be great to dress up a restored Chris-Craft or other wood boat.
