Vintage bronzed metal pair of Scottie puppy dog bookends made by Bronzart in the early to mid-20th century. These two adorable dog bookends are identical, depicting the Scots Terrier sitting and listening with head tilted and one ear cocked. They are cast in a bronzed metal alloy with a beautiful greenish patina, and are embossed "BRONZART" on the back. Each measures 5.5" tall on a 3" by 3.75" base, and weighs over 1.5 lbs. apiece. They are in very good condition with no noticeable cracks or dents, with the underside of one covered in faded green felt, and the other open. This is a wonderful old pair of puppy dog bookends because of the age and high quality of the metal art. Bring them home - just Buy It Now.
