� Complete � set of carved bakelite Backgammon Checkers (15 red + 15 yellow = 30 pcs) . This lovely set of checkers measure just shy of 1.5" in diameter (1 7/16"?) and a solid 7/16" thick. They have that characteristically exquisite bakelite heft and gloss that set them apart from the later, inferior plastics, and the circular carved pattern adds vintage charm and provides nice finger traction during play (a good example of form serving both function and fashion!) Excellent condition. � Six checkers against a ruler shows them just a tad shy of a full 9". � Common checker size, easy to find a vintage board to match -- or a fine set to build a custom board around! Shipping weight = 1.2 lbs . I warrant that this item is� as described. �
