Very attractive vintage CHELSEA Banjo Barometer with original Chelsea platform movement. Barometer shows very well with each instrument having a silvered dial. Clock dial is signed Chelsea as is the platform movement. All are in very clean condition. Case is mahogany with a string inlay. I managed to get the clock to run for about 4 hours. When I moved it, it stopped running..I do not have a capable clock repairman in my area so I have not had it looked at. I simply used it for decoration. Only reason I am selling is I have purchased a period banjo barometer and no longer need it. Some applied trim is missing on top left which can be seen in picture. Area that brass finial sits has some damage but is difficult to see. All in all a very beautiful Chelsea barometer ready to display. Key is included. Thank you for looking.Measures 30.5" x 8"
