Vintage Chinese Rosewood Vase Display Stands Set of 2 These stands were purchased in London in June 1967 and came from my father's estate. He was a world traveler and avid collector of Chinese and Asian art. Two very simple, carved rosewood stands for display purposes. The slightly taller of the two stands has a bit more age on it. Classic styling with the bottom portion extending outward from the top section. T is a bit of depth to aid in securing whatever item would be placed on the stand. Three small feet support the stand. In very good condition given age: some wear on top from original item placement, also on outside edge. No cracks or restorations. Color: dark brown. Measurements: overall diameter is 2 inches; top internal portion diameter is 1-3/8 inches; depth is just short of 1/16 inch; height is 1/3 inch. Weight .4 ounce The second stand is newer, probably carved in the mid-1960s. Appears to have never been used as t are no wear marks; nice finish. Item placement area has slightly raised center but no outside edge as in the other stand. Four feet support the stand. In excellent condition. Color: rosewood reddish brown. Measurements: overall diameter is 2-1/8 inches; top internal diameter is 1-3/4 inches; raised internal portion is 1/16 inch; height is 1/3 inch.
