This auction is for a little scene I put together that I call "Flock Leaving Church". All the antique or vintage items and toys you see are included in this auction. T are three nice cardboard buildings with cut-out window details in this scene. I bought these from Europe and was told they were from Germany. They are not marked. One building has a nice wooden steeple or turret on it and a printed clock. I call it a church. The two houses have applied details, one has wood window boxes, one has a cardboard balcony and both have applied wood chimneys. The "church" is 5-3/4 inches tall at the tip of the steeple, its cardboard base is 4-3/4 by 2-1/4 inches. The houses are about 3 inches tall. Each roof is painted with what looks like enamel paint with brushed details. The houses do show wear, denting of the edges and light staining but they are solid and very nice for vintage pieces. All three buildings have holes cut out of the bases, you can add lights to illuminate them....they would look really nice with the window sashes showing thru. Next are two nice wood trees. These appear to be Erzgebirge but are unmarked. They are just over 3 inches tall. I have also included 6 small turned trees, two small rail fence pieces and two solid wood fence pieces that came from Germany. T are five Erzgebirge sheep that were made from wood rings and hand carved These are all vintage toys. They have all been played with and show signs of wear. Great scene for a Christmas Village Putz or a Miniature Primitive or Vintage Antique toy collection. Worth a smile. I love collecting these German vintage/antique toys and making scenes with them. Many of the items I offer have been purchased from Germany or with the understanding that they came from Germany. I am not an expert and I am always learning. If you have questions, just holler. These toys are offered as collectibles because of their small size. They are not appropriate for small children. I am happy to ship this parcel post or priority mail, whichever is best for you. Outside U.S. Paypal only please, and no returns. @@@@@@@@@@A short note to all buyers. We have a small farm and take in stray animals and neglected horses. In mid-January we took in a 7 month old foal that only had a 50/50 chance of making it. She was the victim of cruel neglect and starvation. She is doing much better now but required around the clock care during the first month she was with us. I just added a new picture of Penny and the first one I took of her in January, t is a 6 month time frame between pictures. At the time we took her in, Penny weighed less than 250 pounds. She should have weighed about 500-600 pounds. She could not get up on her own and needed us to help lift her up for three more weeks. I have been told that she was down in her stall and could not get up for at least 6 days before the state police arrested her owner. Penny was too weak to get up because t had been no food or water in her dark stall for a very long time. The scariest part of all of this is that the woman who owned her had been cited for closing up horses in barns and starving them at least three times in the last year alone. T were 12 more horses found with Penny, and one little foal that did not make it. *****An update....as of June 7th, Penny now weighs 499 pounds..... and is proud of it!!!! We also took in a little black miniature horse from the same neglect case. Like Penny, Sparky was filthy and very, very thin. Her little feet were so overgrown that they were at least 7 inches long. She could barely walk. She is doing much better after gaining about 50 pounds and having her feet trimmed a tiny bit every day. She can even run now, albeit a little "crookedy".
