This working Vintage Taylor Instrument Boy Scouts Compass is in its original box & with instructions. The front of the compass says Boy Scouts of America, National Council. The crystal is clear & free of Scratches,chips and cracks and the brownish red Bakelite case with the star logo on its back is in perfect condition. The dial is bright & clear & the compass needle swings freely. This is an old compass, and estimate it was made around 1935-1940. This compass is from an estate sale so please judge by the pictures provided and please contact me if you have any questions. The box for the compass is in fair condition with a few water drop stains & the wording is mostly readable. One end reads No. 1075 Bar Needles Compass, Mo. 2926A, and Patent No 2,027,952. The other end reads Taylor Instruments Mean Accuracy First. One side reads Box printed in U.S.A, Des. Pat. 93531 older generation Pat #. The operating instruction sheet is included & is in excellent readable condition with light color fade. The Compass is in excellent condition and looks great!
