is a beautifully restored Coca-Cola Vendo Coin Changer. This is a mechanical marvel from the 1950s. You insert a dime or quarter and it is manually diverted to the proper internal chute, which in turn relays another mechanical switch and allows the operator to pull the handle down and instantly convert their dime to 2 nickels or quarter to 5 nickels! Now that the technical side is done, this is truly a beautiful coin-op piece that would compliment any vintage Vendo Soda Machine. It is meant to be wall mounted. I had this on a counter and as a result, t are some scuffs on the bottom. These are not noticable either on a counter or wall mounted as they are on the bottom. Dimensions are 12" wide x 15" tall x 4.5" deep. It was manufactured by the Vendo Company, Kansas City, MO. Model number DB400 B(or6?-eyesight is going!)10-25. Serial number DB2519. This was restored in the late 90s and is still in excellent condition. T are some very minor imperfections and slight wear in the chrome, but certainly nothing that detracts from the beauty of the restoration. Very reasonable starting bid well below my investment! T is NO RESERVE. Shipping is a fixed $40 within the US. Please check my other auctions for many great retro finds and please view my feedback and bid with confidence!
