This is a Conn44H “Vocabell” Trombone serial #290XXX. It has a satin silverplate finish withamazing engraving on the bell. Both inner and outer slides are in like new condition. The inside of the bell has a gold flash plating. It doesn’t appear that any dent work has ever been done to this instrument. It comes with the original case, serialized mouthpiece, and the original guarantee card that came with the instrument back in 1932 or 1933. The bell is rimless and it has angled “art deco style” braces that appear to be solid. This is as close to new as possible (considering it is almost 80 years old). A true player’s horn.
