Offered here is a rare and vintage limited edition solid sterling silver art proof medal issued by the Franklin Mint over 30 years ago, from the set known as THE TREASURES OF AMERICAN ART, one of 100 medals in the set. The medal features a beautiful high base relief design with a mirror-like proof finish. The sterling silver weight of this medal is ~31.5 grams. It is stamped STERLING on the edge in tiny print. But this IS NOT SCRAP, although it has precious metals value and is a great way to invest in silver AND Art History, it is also one of a very limited edition from this classic art medal series.
