You can't get any more American than this great 27 pc Homer Laughlin Currier & Ives dinnerware set, with service for 4, including 4 dinner plates, 4 soup bowls, 4 bread & butter plates, 4 fruit bowls, and 4 cups and saucers, plus a covered sugar and creamer. These dishes are a lovely reddish rose transfer ware, each piece featuring a different historical or scenic American subject, surrounded by a leafy edge. One of my favorites is the scene on the sugar which shows Ben Franklin's famous kite-flying experiment. See a list of pieces and their description below. This set is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks, and with minimal scratching on the plates and bowls. It would be especially pretty for use this time of year, and has a great traditional feel, plus a great Currier & Ives/Homer Laughlin pedigree.
