This would be an antique Douglass Mfg. 7/8 socket chisel. It is marked The Douglass Mfg. Co. Best Cast Steel. (A few letters are faint). There are initials stamped on the face of the blade also. (F.L.A.). The handle is in excellent condition with a leather cap. The chisel is approx. 12.5 inches total length. The metal does have some dings and pitting and staining. Total condition is very good for a very old Douglass chisel. If you have any questions, please ask. Thank you.
