Vintage Eames Era Lounge Chair Mid Century Modern Based on design introduced in 1956 by Charles and Ray Eames, the Eames Lounge Chair is recognized as one of the most distinguished pieces of 20th century design. The Eames Lounge Chair embodies comfort, luxury and elegance. Completely unique in its design, the Eames Lounge Chair combined the craftsmanship of the popular 1940's molded plywood chairs with technical advancements in lounge seating. This authentic-quality reproduction is virtually part-for-part. Rosewood and Walnut wood finishes. This item is not an original Charles & Ray Eames Lounge chair, nor is it manufactured by or affiliated with Herman Miller. Chair and ottoman in good condition. About 30 years old.
