vintage elgin american white pearl color, lucite compact carry all purse. this is a estate sale from a private collector, who worked at elgin american back in the 1940's when this was made. in absolute mint condition. is marked elgin american made in usa. has lipstick holder, orignal powder puff, has a money clip, and also mirror pulls down to store cigarettes or valuables. elgin american case company closed t doors in 1949. powder puff has not been used, but material is coming loose around edges from glue drying. this is 8 1/2 inches tall to top of handle. purse is 4 inches high and 4 1/2 inches wide, it is 4 inches deep inside. this is a gem, for any collector. also the powder puff screen is under the powder puff. never used.
