This auction is for a Vintage Emerson Green/Blue Catalin Radio Model 520 . I have owned several Emerson 520's over the years but this is one of the very seldom seen green/blue catalin versions. I took all of these pictures near my sliding glass door so that you could see the true color of the radio in natural light, I didn't use a camera flash of any kind with these pictures. The radio appears much darker if you're in a poorly lit room but step outside or under a good light and the green and blues really stand out! The radio plays very well pulling in stations loud and clear across the dial. The cabinet and back have no cracks of any kind which is also very uncommon. The only flaw is a small chip on the top left side of the cabinet which I have taken a close up picture of. If you look closely at the chip the catalin appears to be blue. All in all, a great looking radio that would make a nice addition to any collection! This radio will be carefully packed to ensure a safe delivery and will be insured.
