UP FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION IS A VINTAGE ORNATE BOTTLE OF ESTEE LAUDER'S YOUTH DEW. AS YOU CAN SEE IT STILL HAS THE TAG ON IT. I'M NOT SURE IF THIS WAS A TESTER BOTTLE OR A PURSE SIZE BOTTLE, BUT ONE THING IS FOR SURE...YOU WON'T FIND THIS ANYW BUT IF YOU LOOK CLOSELY YOU CAN STILL SEE THE WRITING ON THE TAG. I USED A MAGNIFYING GLASS TO READ IT WORD FOR WORD. ON ONE SIDE OF THE TAG (PHOTO 5) IT SAYS: YOUTH DEW SKIN PERFUME 1/8 FL. OZ. ON THE OTHER SIDE (PHOTO 6) OF THE TAG IT SAYS: ESTEE LAUDER NEW YORK, NY 10022 IT MEASURES A LITTLE OVER 3 INCHES AND IT STILL HAS A LITTLE PERFUME STILL IN THE BOTTLE!! YOUTH DEW WAS CREATED IN 1952!! A forerunner in American perfumery which was nonexistent at the time, Estée Lauder decided to create a product that would meet the expectations of American women. Instead of launching an eau de toilette that American women didn't use to buy, she developed a bath oil with a light and airy name, Youth Dew, sold in drugstores. The lid of the container was designed to allow for smelling the fragrance before purchase.
