Vintage Etched Hurricane Table Lamp w/ Prisms Electric Description: This vintage lamp has a square marble base, a brass stem and collar, and an etched hurricane globe over an electric candle, while decorative glass prisms dangle from the brass bobeche. The etch features a Greek urn with bunches of fruit in beaded medallions. Dimensions : Lamp measures 8 1/4" to the top of the collar; and 16" to the top of the hurricane globe. The marble base measures 3 3/4" square. Marks/Dates : Probably 1950's. Unmarked. Condition : No cracks, chips or other damage to the visible portion of the hurricane globe, but t is a small chip on the rim that sits inside the collar. One prism is missing, and t is a spot of wear on the brass stem near the marble. The lamp is in good working condition, and the wiring appears good, but should always be checked as a precaution.
