The book is a collectible 704 page Hard cover titled " Fishing and Encyclopedic guide to Tackle and tactics for fresh and salt water ". The book was written by Joseph D Bates who also wrote 10 other books on fishing.T are 37 chapters covering fly fishing,all types of reels,lures,flys,rod making,tactics for fresh water fish as well as salt water fishing and two dozen other topics. The book is well illustrated with black and white photos as well as color.The book is in very good condition the outside jacket has some very minor wear on the top edge less than an 1/8". The inside of the book is in close to new condition nice clean crisp pages. The book is almost 40 years old and was written in the early 70"s full of great information and worth a bid.
