Lot #2 � - Gold IC Flatpack IC Chips, Testers, adapters, carriers, etc., for all shown as a lot, from an estate of a Westinghouse Semi-Conductor Division engineer who retired in the late 1970's. These could be desired for the gold content or the collectible rarity of the Flatpack experimental prototype IC Chips. Shown above in the main photo, on the left side, are lower 3 bags of blue carriers, each containing one Gold IC Chip for testing. These plastic bags are marked REJECT and contain 68 chips with carriers. There are 68 chips in these bag on the upper left of various sizes, marked GOOD. In the middle of this photo are blueprint plans folded, and other related paperwork to these tests. Also in the middle are 25 chips in a plastic box marked GOOD. Some are 10 pin and some are 12 pin. In the upper left corner is a aluminum homemade testing box, made for testing these Flatpack chips in their carriers. In the lower right of the main photo are parts - carriers, adapters, parts, used for testing on this machine. Also included , and seems to be somewhat unrelated is an unmarked 12-pin Westinghouse transistor in it's tester, and one without a transistor with wires. The paper bags contain resistors used for testing. I removed a few IC flatpack IC's for pictures from their carriers.All carriers and adapters have gold pins. These chips are read more
