This is a clear glass baseball bank about the size of a hardball. The bottom screws on and has a slot for coins. The bank sits on a black plastic holder. It was originally obtained in 1953 as a birthday party favor, to be filled with candy, but was unused. It is in mint condition. It comes with the original box. The box has a drawing of the bank on the top. Two sides read " it's a hit..Bank can be opened and used again. To open and remove coins, turn slotted plate to the left. Patent Pending." One of these sides has the print a little washed out..seems to be a factory defect. Your box will be one that has not been folded yet. This would be great for collectors of baseball memorabilia or candy containers. We have some other interesting items listed and welcome new bidders. Thanks for looking.
