I purchased these at an estate sale in an old civil war house on the battlefield at Gettysburg. What a sale. These are all in very good condition. It has 31 pieces, which includes spoons. As you know, often you cannot get a full set of 8 place settings, with spoons. Ther are actually more than an 8 place setting. T are 12 forks --9 spoons --and 10 knives. If you keep looking on Ebay, you could have a 12 place setting soon. T is one spoon that does have a little pitting. Not bad. You can see it in the spoon pics. The knives say stainless and have a patent number-DES-PAT 96,720. The spoons have kromebrite. The forks have chrome plate. Wonderful old set. I will be listing two more sets in other colors.
