This is a vintage parking meter that probably dates back to the 1940's or 1950's sometime. I say this because it looks like this meter will accept small coins, most likely dimes. As a matter of fact, I put a dime in the slot, turned the knob, AND IT ACCEPTED IT!! The meter started ticking away. The meter head was manufactured by M.H. RHODES and it is in decent condition. Lots of dings and scratches in the metal. The glass has scratches and one of the glass panels is angled back inside the housing. This will need to be corrected. Meter weighs 17-1/2 pounds and measures 13" high. Let me know if you still have questions . Insurance is included in my shipping fee!
